We meditate on another attribute of God that ought to stimulate love for Him: His forgiveness.

We approach this subject by reflecting on four things:

• What it means that God is forgiving.
• Why the Lord can be forgiving, given that He is completely holy and just.
• What we must do to receive this forgiveness.
• And why we should love Him more and not less for being a forgiving God.
