We begin this series of lectures with a study of four characters who were key in the early stages of the Scottish reformation, including Patrick Hamilton, George Wishart, John Knox and Andrew Melville. Two of these men sealed their faith with their blood, while two died naturally. All four, however, were instrumental in shedding the light of the Gospel in a land where darkness had previously reigned.
