23:1He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah.
23:2A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of Jehovah.
23:3An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into the assembly of Jehovah for ever: 23:4because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee. 23:5Nevertheless Jehovah thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but Jehovah thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because Jehovah thy God loved thee. 23:6Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
23:7Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, because thou wast a sojourner in his land. 23:8The children of the third generation that are born unto them shall enter into the assembly of Jehovah.
23:9When thou goest forth in camp against thine enemies, then thou shalt keep thee from every evil thing. 23:10If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of that which chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp: 23:11but it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp. 23:12Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad: 23:13and thou shalt have a paddle among thy weapons; and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee: 23:14for Jehovah thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
23:15Thou shalt not deliver unto his master a servant that is escaped from his master unto thee: 23:16he shall dwell with thee, in the midst of thee, in the place which he shall choose within one of thy gates, where it pleaseth him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
23:17There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel. 23:18Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the wages of a dog, into the house of Jehovah thy God for any vow: for even both these are an abomination unto Jehovah thy God.
23:19Thou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother; interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that is lent upon interest: 23:20unto a foreigner thou mayest lend upon interest; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon interest, that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in all that thou puttest thy hand unto, in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.
23:21When thou shalt vow a vow unto Jehovah thy God, thou shalt not be slack to pay it: for Jehovah thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee. 23:22But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee. 23:23That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt observe and do; according as thou hast vowed unto Jehovah thy God, a freewill-offering, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
23:24When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou mayest eat of grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel. 23:25When thou comest into thy neighbor's standing grain, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thy hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing grain.
Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah,
That delighteth greatly in his commandments.
112:2His seed shall be mighty upon earth:
The generation of the upright shall be blessed.
112:3Wealth and riches are in his house;
And his righteousness endureth for ever.
112:4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness:
He is gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
112:5Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth;
He shall maintain his cause in judgment.
112:6For he shall never be moved;
The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.
112:7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:
His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.
112:8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid,
Until he see his desire upon his adversaries.
112:9He hath dispersed, he hath given to the needy;
His righteousness endureth for ever:
His horn shall be exalted with honor.
112:10The wicked shall see it, and be grieved;
He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away:
The desire of the wicked shall perish.
113:1Praise ye Jehovah.
Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah,
Praise the name of Jehovah.
113:2Blessed be the name of Jehovah
From this time forth and for evermore.
113:3From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same
Jehovah's name is to be praised.
113:4Jehovah is high above all nations,
And his glory above the heavens.
113:5Who is like unto Jehovah our God,
That hath his seat on high,
113:6That humbleth himself *to behold
The things that are in heaven and in the earth?
113:7He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,
And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;
113:8That he may set him with princes,
Even with the princes of his people.
113:9He maketh the barren woman to keep house,
And to be a joyful mother of children.
Praise ye Jehovah.
50:1Thus saith Jehovah, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, wherewith I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities were ye sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away. 50:2Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst. 50:3I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering. 50:4The Lord Jehovah hath given me the tongue of them that are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as they that are taught. 50:5The Lord Jehovah hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away backward. 50:6I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair; I hid not my face from shame and spitting. 50:7For the Lord Jehovah will help me; therefore have I not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame. 50:8He is near that justifieth me; who will content with me? let us stand up together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. 50:9Behold, the Lord Jehovah will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? behold, all they shall wax old as a garment, the moth shall eat them up. 50:10Who is among you that feareth Jehovah, that obeyeth the voice of his servant? he that walketh in darkness, and hath no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah, and rely upon his God. 50:11Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that gird yourselves about with firebrands; walk ye in the flame of your fire, and among the brands that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of my hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
20:1And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 20:2And he laid hold on the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 20:3and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be finished: after this he must be loosed for a little time. 20:4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 20:5The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection. 20:6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 20:7And when the thousand years are finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 20:8and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 20:9And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them. 20:10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 20:11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 20:12And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. 20:13And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 20:14And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire. 20:15And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
